Nothing from Google Music Services

By Detector | 18 April 2011

Google problems with music industry have slow down their online music store development. The company has plans for a development of music store similar to iTunes, but at the mean time a little progress has been made. They are probably thinking – How the Steve Jobs make this happened with iTunes? How he made successful deal with music industry but we cannot? That’s becouse Steve Jobs is cooler than Google’s officials.

The real deal is that negotiations have slow progress, and some music companies dislike Google’s recent contract conditions changes, which returned the negotiations to the same beginning. The situation is very serious for Google, becouse some supreme music companies managers already consider the overall profitability of this type of music services, so the feature may be not so bright for this kind of services.

Lack of quality music services is same as lack of Android platform; becouse Google’s market position is seriously exacerbated by the Amazon’s cloud music services. One of the smart moves of Google’s officials is – until negotiations are not over, there is no announcing of new Google music services. At the end, competition is always welcome to us, becouse it brings more innovations, quality and lower prices.
