Microsoft officially confirmed the presentation date of Windows Phone 7. Presentation is announced on 11th October in New York, and the whole program will run Microsoft chief Steve Ballmer.

Apart from Microsoft, there are announcements for presentation of several leading telecom operators and smart phones based on this operating system. One of the smart phone that will be based on WP 7 is new HTC Mozart with a 1 GHz processor, 3.7-inch screen (800 x 480 px), 8 GB internal memory and 8-megapixel camera. This is the largest presentation of Microsoft product this year, and after the event a more details will be available for pricing and further WP7 devices.
