How to Adjust the Recycle Bin Settings
Computer’s litter or popularly called Recycle Bin is a place where Windows store the files you deleted form your computer, giving you the opportunity to restore them to the original location if you accidentally or carelessly deleted them. The only problem is when you delete the files with the Shift key, because then they’re irretrievable.
In today’s article, we will explain how to adjust the Recycle Bin settings. For the start, you will open the basic functions of your Recycle Bin with the right mouse click on its icon. We advise you to leave “Display delete confirmation dialog” and “Use one setting for all drives” options turned on. Do not turn “Do not move files to the Recycle bin” on by any chance, because in that case the deleted files will not be temporarily placed in the Recycle Bin, but deleated completely and immediately.
On 0 – 100% scale which indicates how much space of your hard disc will be provided for the Recycle Bin, the predifined setting is 10%. We do not suggest you to increase that amount over 20%, because there really is no need for that.
