Office for iPhone Ready for Download
As we assume in our previous post “Office for the iPhone, rumor or truth?” it is truth. QuickOffice is available to download from the iTunes app store now. Quickoffice is the first iPhone application to enable editing of Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. The product also includes file-sharing and content management capabilities. Functionality like emailing files and drag and drop capabilities will be available in the next few weeks as free update. QuickOffice has three products in one: Quicksheet, Quickword and QuickOffice Files.
The package costs $19.99, but it delivers all the features including cut-and-paste. You can format text, add bullets, and work in landscape mode. In Excel docs you will have 125 functions and advanced formulas. It includes a files tool which load documents over a WiFi connection or from a MobileMe iDisk account.
