By Detector | 10 March 2009

In the last time a lot of internet users abandon the Adobe PDF viewers because of its large exposure to security attacks. But in recent times even the alternative PDF browsers are not immune to security failures.

Anyway, the company Foxit Software for its popular PDF document reader Foxit Reader – versions 2.3 and 3.0, release patches for three security flaws which are partly identical with those that affect Adobe Reader. But, for most attackers primary target is still Adobe Reader so users of Foxit Reader are much safer for now.

More information about the security flaws and the appropriate patches can be found on this site.
