Appnr.com is a online service for installing applications on Ubuntu, Kubuntu or Xubuntu. Application from Appnr.com are always latest version in Ubuntu repositories. Besides repositories, on Appnr.com you can find third-party applications and install them with just one click.

If you using older Ubuntu (6.06, 6.10 and 7.06) systems, you must first install AptUrl package for automatic installation. Ubuntu version from 7.10 includes this package by default. Those with newer Ubuntu version skip step 1.

1. To install apturl open terminal and enter:
   

   sudo apt-get install apturl

2. Click here to visit Appnr.com. Select the category and then click install for automatic installation of chosen application. You can choose from big list of applications, codecs for various audio and video formats, third party apps like Google Earth and much more.

The bad news is that software on Appnr.com is not the newest, but the latest version on Ubuntu repositories. We hope that this will be changed in near feature and Appnr.com will grow in real Ubuntu App community that will bring one click installation for the newest App versions.
