90% of Facebook users are not satisfied with new UI, Facebook team response – you will get used to

“Bad, vast, back the old design” are just some of the objections that are published commenting on the initial implementation of the new Facebook user interface. As CNet reports, the greatest dissatisfaction is expressed by users who are not so technologically aware (which is the largest number on Facebook), and the others are already accustomed to such new ideas. But, despite the user dissatisfaction, the number of new Facebook users is unstoppable and currently it is around 175 million.

Many of users complain that new Facebook look like micro-blogging service Twitter, which is not far from the truth. The last Facebook redesign was before about six months and according to me was better than the new one. So it is questionable, why Facebook team decided to redesign the biggest social network so early just in time when users get familiar with the last user interface? If the trend is somewhat cosmetic and functional changes every six months, it is certain that the number of Facebook users will start descending in the future.
