New nVidia 180.35 Linux driver
By Detector | 25 February 2009
The new 180.35 driver add support for GeForce GT 120, GeForce G100, and Quadro FX 3700M graphics cards and improved OpenGL 3.0 support for RG render-buffers and floating-point depth buffers.
Other improvements are on VDPAU. The Video Decode and Presentation API for Unix is video API for Linux for video acceleration. Now, VC-1/WMV can be accelerated on all GeForce 8 and later GPUs. VDPAU has a new “skip chroma deinterlace” option that will allow advanced deinterlace on more low-end systems. Also improved VDPAU handles correctly some forms of corrupt/invalid MPEG streams.
