AMD released new 9.1 Catalyst drivers for Linux

The main features in new driver release are:
- Production support for Linux Operating Systems – now ATI Catalyst with this release introduces production support of Ubuntu 8.10
- Full OpenGL™ 3.0 extension support
- Hybrid CrossFire™ support for Linux – significant 3D graphic performance and boost for systems with 780G/780D integrated graphics and Ati Radeon 3400 and 2400 series
- Multiview Support – enables users to render applications using a multiple GPU configuration with independent displays
