New Toshiba netbook with SSD

Toshiba decide to refresh its netbook NB100 with additional SSD with a capacity of 64 GB. New Toshiba offer is 64-gigabytes SSD instead of the classic discs rotating plates that are more frequent occurrence in the world netbooks.

The new model is NB100HF. Use of SSD will increase speed of access to information and provides a longer lifetime of autonomy – the battery life has been declared for five hours. Instead of Windows XP that have been offered, on a new netbook will get Vista Home Basic.

The second model in this offer is NB100H, and instead of the SSD, system comes with a 160-gigabyte disc. This version of the notebook has Windows XP Home, and the battery life is declared at 3.7 hours.

Other specifications are identical. Embedded within 1.6-gigahertz Intel Atom N270, gigabyte working memory and screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels with LED back light illuminated. Dimensions are 225 x 190.5 mm x 29,5-33 and weighed is a kilo. Prices are still not known.
