Alarm Clock is very customizable wake up and scheduler application for Linux. If you want more info about the options and program functions follow this DetectorPRO article. This time I will focus on installing Alarm Clock with one click or easy way installation on Ubuntu. The file is already deb package and it will install all necessary libraries needed for Alarm Clock.

Note: Close every package or installation program, because only one installation at a time is allowed on Ubuntu.

If you want to install the repository version of Alarm Clock (At this time version 0.9.11, but repository version can be updated with your system updates), the version that comes with your Ubuntu system, open you terminal and type:

sudo apt-get install alarm-clock

Or if you want graphical way installation, go to System/Administration/Synaptic Package Manager, on search field enter “alarm clock” without quotes, find the program and Right click on it for Mark or installation. Click apply. You can found the newly installed program at Applications/Accessories/Alarm Clock.
