New Debian Linux project – screenshots service
Debian team work on interesting project – http://screenshots.debian.net. New open project was created to help Debian users getting an impression of what certain software will look like on your desktop before you install it. This is a public repository of screenshots taken from applications contained in the Debian Linux distribution. Everybody can take screenshots and upload them. Every uploaded screenshot will be reviewed of Debian admin team before publishing on the web. At this moment screenshot service has over 360 different screenshots. Actual version of Debian Linux has over 20000 different packages of programs.
So, Linux users, every help to Debian team to accomplish this interesting idea is welcome.
