Taken from original article at lwn.net “On Linux Plumbers Conference Thursday, Arjan van de Ven, Intel Linux Developer and PowerTOP programmer, and Auke Kok – Intel Open Source Technology Center demonstrated linux boot for only 5 seconds. For presentation they use Asus Eee PC, with flash memory not the hard drive, and Fedora and Moblin modified linux distributions. Cause projector cannot be sync with PC in that short time they turn Eee PC towards the audience.”
