Recently, I got an email from one newbie internet marketer. He is looking for the best way to sell his services and products thru internet. I will give him my answer with this post.

On the internet there are lots of ways to market your products and services, but one of the best types of product and services promotion is through blogging. Blogging is a great and unique way to sell your products and services and also to build your fan base.

How it is possible: Blog is simple to create; you don’t need to be a web designer (sometimes a good web design helps a little) or be high technical minded to create one. Every blogging platforms will take you step-by-step with creation wizard where you can easily choose layout and settings for you blog. This is a great advantage as it will set you off on a flying start! This step-by-step creation is a big relive for newbie promoters and bloggers and it’s spends a lot of time and effort.

So, you have blog now and what will be the key of your success? The key to be successful blogger is quality and quantity of topic that you are very knowledgeable about (in this case promotion of your product and services). You begin with posting articles relate to your products and services, about your experience and give tips and advice that you think that it will be helpful to your readers. For the first couple of post be unique and don’t posts with hard sell writing style your products and services, this will scare readers. Next Step: Add Site to Google, Yahoo and MSN Search. Next step: Create links to your main site, make sure they are easily accessible and stand out. Ask readers to favorite you blog post at technoraty, stumbleupon, digg and similar community services. This will increase you blog ranking and bring more readers of your niche.

Now, when you finished with all steps, you just need to constantly update your content to keep your readers interested. You should set yourself a plan and some short and long term goals so you don’t get discouraged. My advice is to post and maintain your blog daily and this way you will attract some very loyal readers that will gain your trust and be more than happy to purchase your products or services.

My last advice for newbie bloggers: Don’t start your blog promotion with public domain name (blogspot, wordpress). Buy your DOT COM domain name and if you want use public blog hosting services as blogspot or wordpress. If you use this advice before starting your blog and its promotion, you will never experience the problems with changing you domain name to DOT COM and losing all traffic when your blog will be old more of 2-3 months and have more of 50-60 posts, high ranking and already have own readers popularity.
