How to Increase Google Pagerank with 7 simple tips
Everyone wants to increase Google Pagerank and Backlinks of their sites and blogs because the higher your Pagerank is, more your blog or site is worth.
I start with blogging at December 2007, and, at that time I don’t have many visitors, but the number of visitors constantly grows just from Google. At the beginning I ask myself why Google don’t increase my Pagerank. I read somewhere that Google refreshes their Pagerank database every 3 months, but after 3 months waiting nothing happened again. I follow all the steps from Google Webmaster Tools – adding verification, sitemap, fix some not working links, adding “nofollow” to my advertiser’s links, but nothing again. Recently, before 2 months, I read interesting post “Secrets of a PR” and I start to understand how simple is to increase site Pagerank if you have/know the real steps. From my “investigation” over the net, by reading a lot of forum posts, blog posts, and testing every idea which I found interesting for my knowledge, I summarize the most important steps/rules in this post which I try to follow as much as I can on my web sites and blogs to get a real and big Google Pagerank number:
- Get links from old and highly trusted domains.
- Get site-wide links from a huge site with 150,000+ pages (for ex. a large forum).
- Get a few deep links from relevant articles or content.
- No massive and low-level directory submissions.
- Avoid link exchanges, esp. from new domains.
- Be a regular commentator on blog or sites similar to your niche.
- Post on social bookmarking sites like Digg and StumbleUpon.
The results of these tips will be increasing Google Pagerank over 5, after 5-6 months.

Judging by the fact that you still have no page rank, (and neither do I so don’t take that statement as criticism!) it seems these strategies are only empty theories. I wish it were so easy!
The PR predictors all say I should have a PR of 5, but here I am, over a year since I set up housekeeping at my own domain and I still have a big goose egg.

@Margaret: Those are tips that I collect from sites and blogs with hight PR. As I say in my post: I try to follow it as much as I can on my web sites and blogs. This blog has bad experience with Pageranking
(I don’t follow some rules in the past), but it is still young (3 months). I always hope for the best. And I keep positive thinking.

Technorati authority in this moment: 445 and growing (posts about at blog category: Technorati)
Alexa in this moment: 280.000(post about at blog category: web traffic)
So, I think that my tips for increasing Technorati and Alexa ranking works. Also, I hope that Google pageranking tips will work, But the time will tell the truth
It’s your choice/judgment, to use those tips or not use (as you say: “only empty theories” – I strongly disagree).

hi, thanks for the info. Im still trying to increase my pagerank, which right now is still at zero! even though most of my traffic are from my old blog at wordpress.com which is has a PR of 3, which i paid to wordpress to redirect traffic to my new self hosted blog.
